What we collect, and why

Google Analytics Only if you accept

Counts visits: which pages are opened, on what kind of device, roughly where from, and how people found the site, such as a Google search or a Facebook post. It sets cookies (named _ga) so a return visit is counted as the same visitor. If you decline, Google is told not to store anything on your device; it may still receive a basic signal that a page was opened, with no cookie and nothing to recognise you by next time.

Meta Pixel Only if you accept

Tells Meta, which runs Facebook and Instagram, when someone who saw our ads opens a page, looks at a product, adds it to the cart or taps to order on WhatsApp. That is how we know whether an advert worked. It sets a cookie named _fbp. If you decline, the pixel is not loaded at all and nothing is sent to Meta from this site.

The order log Always, no cookie

When you tap a WhatsApp button that starts an order, a question about a product or a repair booking, the site records:

• the date and time, and which button it was
• the products, quantities, colours and prices in the order, and the total
• the page you sent it from
• where you came to the site from, such as Google, Facebook or the name of one of our adverts
• whether you were on a phone, a tablet or a computer

It does not record your name, your phone number, your IP address, your browser's details or anything that could recognise you or your device later. Because it holds nothing personal and sets no cookie, it runs whether or not you accept cookies. We use it to see which products people want and which adverts bring orders.

What stays on your phone

Your cart, the products you looked at recently and your cookie choice are kept in your own browser so they are still there next time. They are not sent to us. The name and delivery area you can type in the cart go into your WhatsApp message and nowhere else.

For as long as the tab is open, the browser also remembers where this visit came from, such as Google or a Facebook post, so the order log can say so. It is gone when you close the tab.

When you message us

Orders and questions continue on WhatsApp, which belongs to Meta. There we see your number and your messages, as in any chat, and we use them to confirm your order, delivery and payment. This website does not keep a copy.

Who else handles it

Google (Analytics) and Meta (the pixel and WhatsApp), as above. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles every page request as any web host does, and the catalogue and the order log are stored with Supabase. These companies keep data on servers outside Zimbabwe.

Your choices

You can change your cookie choice at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page. Declining after accepting stops both tools and removes their cookies from this site.

To ask what we hold about you or to have it removed, message or call us on the numbers above, or come to the shop. The order log holds nothing that points to you, so there is nothing in it to find under your name.
